GCSE success for Stockley Academy

Students and staff are celebrating a best ever GCSE performance at Stockley Academy.

Students at the Academy in Park View Road, Yiewsley, achieved 25 per cent five A*- C grades including English and Maths.

The number of students achieving A grades greatly improved, congratulations go in particular to three students who achieved absolutely outstanding individual results.

Daniel Kerr, Felicia Akhazemea and Zoe Keen achieved 17 A* and A grade results between them and 10 or more passes each.

In addition 12 students- Sian Olds, Jessica Wellstead, Jack Barnes, Kyle Purewal, Faiza Ahmed, Ana Sofia Moloney, Niall Wynn, Marsela Peposhi, Leane Stratten, Louenna Cass, Jade King and Nika Samani- Nobandegani- achieved 10 or more GCSE passes of C and above.

32 year 10 students also took their Mathematics GCSE one year early and achieved a grade C or above.

Principal Ian Storey commented "Students' A grade achievements are a testament to the success of our gifted and talented programme".
