St. Matthew's Church, Yiewsley is aiming to put on more events at its Parish Centre in Yiewsley High Street to try and encourage more activity in the town centre.

With the Church celebrating its 150th Anniversary next July there are plans for many celebrations and community events throughout the year.

These events will be for both young and old, churchgoers and non-churchgoers and will include a competition for local schools, an exhibition of children's art, a flower festival and an exhibition celebrating the last 150 years in Yiewsley.

There will also be the Church Jumble Sale, table-top sales and bazaar for all the local bargain hunters.

This coming Saturday (July 19th) they are holding a table-top and car boot sale starting at 11am, to help raise funds for all the planned celebrations.
